Fill The Cup 2017 Results are in!

In just 10 days, the communities of Queen Anne and South Lake Union came together to:

collect 3,621 pounds of food and raise over $16,403.

Because of our wholesale buying power, $1 = 2 lbs, therefore $16,303 = 32,606 pounds for a grand total of:

36,427 pounds!!

This would not have been possible without the incredible support and sponsorship of Monty Holmes & Athletic Awards- thank you for everything!

Collection bin hosts include: Skye at Belltown, Serious Pie and Biscuit, Glazer's, QALC, PEMCO, Team Brown, Sacred Heart Parish, Gates Foundation Visitor Center, Umpqua Bank, QA Community Center, SCHARP, Sons of Italy, Emerald City Medical Arts, Shah Safari, Seattle Elks Lodge #72, Seattle Gym, Martha Erwin and Candace Krick. Thank you for your time and dedication in collecting food, raising money and raising awareness!

A big thank you to Fitness by DesignVulcan, QAFB Volunteers and everyone who generously donated.

And lastly, thank you to Seattle Print Works for your in-kind donation and printing expertise!

According to the USDA, 1.2 pounds = 1 meal. With these pounds, our community and created 30,356 meals for those in need right in our neighborhood. Way to go, everyone!!!

Organize a Company Food Drive

Many organizations and companies give their employees an opportunity to conduct a food drive which gives everyone a chance to participate and volunteer for a good cause.

Be a collection box host site, collect food to drop off, create a Fund drive team and raise money and/or volunteer with drop off/pick up and sorting!

Check out our Events page for all the details.

Kids Can Organize a Food Drive Too

It's not just companies that hold food drives; many students in the community also hold their own food drive. We believe that volunteering can be a rewarding (and fun) experience no matter if you're an adult or a kid!

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.
